# Roadmap

## <mark style="color:purple;">**Aark Digital Vision & 2026 Roadmap**</mark>

2025 was a year of resilience, iteration, and foundation-building. With $100B+ in cumulative volume processed, zero instances of bad debt, and the successful launch of our first white-label partner integration, the Aark engine has proven itself as production-grade infrastructure for high-leverage perpetual trading.

2026 marks the transition from protocol to platform. Our focus shifts toward strengthening the core engine, expanding settlement capabilities, and preparing the infrastructure for multi-partner scale.

This roadmap reflects that direction.

#### <mark style="color:violet;">1H 2026: Engine Hardening and Settlement Architecture</mark>

The first half of 2026 is dedicated to reinforcing the technical foundation that powers all current and future integrations.

**Interval Settlement v2**

Building on the original 60-second verification cycle that enables safe 1000x leverage, v2 introduces adaptive interval timing. Settlement frequency will dynamically adjust based on real-time volatility conditions, tightening during high-impact events and relaxing during stable periods. This reduces computational overhead while maintaining the same zero-bad-debt guarantee.

**Oracle Infrastructure Upgrade**

The current price feed system mirrors CEX orderbooks through the Reflective Market Maker (RMM). The upgrade introduces multi-source oracle aggregation with latency-weighted scoring, improving price accuracy during periods of cross-exchange divergence. This is critical for RWA and forex instruments where single-source dependency creates settlement risk.

**Risk Engine Optimization**

A comprehensive refactor of the liquidation and margin calculation pipeline to support concurrent position evaluation across multiple asset classes. The current sequential processing model will be replaced with parallel risk assessment, enabling the engine to handle significantly higher throughput without degradation in settlement accuracy.

**Cross-Chain Settlement Layer**

Development of a chain-agnostic settlement module that allows the Aark engine to process trades across multiple L1 and L2 environments without requiring separate deployments per chain. This is the prerequisite for scaling white-label integrations across ecosystems beyond Arbitrum.

#### <mark style="color:violet;">2H 2026: Platform Expansion and Instrument Diversity</mark>

The second half of 2026 focuses on broadening what can be traded through the Aark engine and preparing for institutional-grade throughput.

**RWA Instrument Pipeline**

Expanding the asset coverage layer to support real-world asset perpetuals including global equities, commodities, and forex pairs. The infrastructure includes automated instrument onboarding, configurable leverage tiers per asset class, and compliance-ready settlement parameters for regulated asset types.

**Custom Instrument Issuance Framework**

A protocol-level system for constructing entirely new tradeable instruments: weighted baskets, thematic indexes, and sector composites. These instruments are designed, maintained, and rebalanced by the engine, enabling partners to offer exclusive products unavailable on any other venue.

**Matching Engine Throughput Upgrade**

Targeted improvements to order processing capacity, including batch execution optimization and memory-efficient position state management. The goal is to support sustained high-frequency activity across multiple concurrent partner integrations without latency spikes during peak volume periods.

**Security and Audit Cadence**

Following the completion of the Pashov audit for the defi.app integration, we are establishing a recurring audit cycle with quarterly reviews of all smart contract updates and engine modifications. All audit reports will be published publicly through this documentation.

#### <mark style="color:violet;">Ongoing: White-Label Partner Growth</mark>

Throughout 2026, the primary commercial objective is to scale the number of live white-label integrations. Each integration deepens the shared liquidity network, improves execution quality for all partners, and strengthens the economic foundation of the protocol.

The infrastructure work outlined above is designed specifically to support this scale, ensuring that each new partner integration does not degrade performance for existing ones, and that the engine can accommodate diverse asset types, leverage configurations, and settlement requirements across partners.
